Plat4orm is an established, virtual boutique PR agency, looking for an Operations Manager to join our team. We specialize in the B2B technology sector working with a range of clients, from emerging startups to market leaders. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of project management experience with a focus in operations. This position is responsible for a broad range of financial and administrative functions of a remote PR agency, including assuring all staff adheres to the agency’s policies and procedures, operational budget oversight, and assuring the agency is operating at optimal efficiency. This position will also be responsible for developing, monitoring, and evaluating overall corporate strategy with the CEO and the agency leadership team. This position requires a high level of judgment, leadership, and commitment to the goals of the agency and its leaders.

Plat4orm team members work remotely for much of the time. As such, candidates should be self-starters with a strong ability to take ownership of projects and produce results, have strong organizational skills, and pay close attention to detail.

  • Supervises and manages administrative support staff, to include performance management.
  • Monitors the budget on a regular basis including reviewing costs, expenses, and reimbursements. Identifies areas to streamline, reduce expenses and implement changes.
  • Coordinates with agency leadership on staff issues, including hiring, promotions, terminations, sick leave, etc.
  • Establish and maintain corporate policies.
  • Establish, maintain, and modify as necessary, corporate insurance policies.
  • Helps leadership achieve 30-60-90 day and yearly goals from an operational perspective.
  • Put processes in place to allow for innovation and growth.
  • Ability to model out growth strategies with the CEO.
  • Assists the agency in preparing proposals and contracts, agenda items, and supporting information for presentation.
  • Plans and coordinates agency-wide activities, including meetings and special events.
  • Handles inquiries, negotiates prices with vendors, and handles all paperwork associated with billing, contractors, etc.
  • Performs other duties as required to support the department and its mission.
  • Provides administrative and logistical support to priority projects of the agency.
  • Develop strategies to increase work productivity and efficiency.
  • Creative and strategic problem solving to help the agency have more successful relationships with clients.
  • Understand and track project scope in order to achieve agency growth.



Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of related work experience in operations and project management; at least one (1) year of supervisory experience. Prior experience in an agency setting preferred. All applicants must be able to effectively demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Ability to manage, plan, develop, and lead staff.
  • Thorough knowledge of administrative and financial operations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of data
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and develop and maintain relationships with all levels of staff, both FTEs and contractors.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office, including software for tracking time, budgets, etc.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Ability to conduct research, collect data and make sound analysis.
  • Ability to exercise a high degree of judgment with minimal supervision.
